Collin Maloney focuses his practice on federal and state commercial litigation in the areas of business disputes, breach of contract and fraud, patents and intellectual property, products liability, and oil and gas litigation. A former briefing attorney for the Honorable Harry W. McKee, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Texas, Collin is admitted to practice before all Texas state courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
A graduate of Creighton University (B.A. 1991) and Texas Tech University School of Law (J.D. 1995), Collin is a member of the State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association, Smith County Bar Association, Bar Association for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, and has an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review RatingSM by Martindale-Hubbell®.
Collin is the former president of the Smith County Young Lawyers Association, as well as a former secretary/treasurer and director of the organization. He was named “Young Lawyer of the Year" by the Smith County Bar Association in 2005 and has been named a “Texas Rising Star” by the publishers of Texas Monthly Magazine. He is member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
